Who we are......
The Livingston Humane Society provides critically
needed services to abused, neglected, and
abandoned animals in a humane and
compassionate manner. We work with the local
shelters in the incorporated cities of Denham
Springs and Walker as well as working with the
Livingston Parish Shelter scheduled to open in the
Fall of 2008.
What we do......
We serve Livingston Parish by conducting animal
cruelty investigations, animal rescues and
rehabilitation, pet adoptions, and, when possible
assistance with spay/neuter services.
Future Plans......
Our future plans include fostering education
programs with local school systems and
community outreach programs to promote
responsible pet ownership.
